Rohit Shetty, Shahrukh khan and team planned to remake for the film of 1982 "ANGOOR". The film "Chennai Express"begun at Mehboob studio on 5^th October 2012 and wrapped up fully on 25^th may 2013.Shooting is done of "Chennai Express" at different places Mumbai, Hyderabad, Goa and Munnar (Kerala).

Chennai Express is hard core commercial movie with a Romantic angle. Story of the “Chennai Express” is about a man who is travelling from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens during Journey.

 

Shahrukh khan and Deepika Padukone are team up after 5 years in “Chennai Express” Both have already worked in “Om Shanti Om” together and that was a blockbuster. We hope both Stars will rock in Chennai Express. Shahrukh khan will be in new Action Avatar in this movie. Priyamani  will seen as item songin "Chennai Express"
